1. Boyle’s Law
Boyle’s law shows that, at constant temperature, the product of an ideal gas’s pressure and volume is always constant. It can be determined experimentally using a pressure gauge and a variable volume container.
As a mathematical equation, Boyle’s law is:
2. Charles’s Law
It says that, for an ideal gas at constant pressure, the volume is directly proportional to the absolute temperature (in kelvin).
3. Pressure Law
It states that the pressure exerted on a container’s sides by an ideal gas is proportional to the absolute temperature.
So how to remember the gas law at above?
Just using the general gas law.
The formula:
BoT: In Boyle’s law (Bo), the temperature (T) is always constant.
By using general gas law, JUST remove the T (temperature). So, the formula will be:
CaP: In Charles’s law (Ca), the pressure (P) is always constant.
By using general gas law, JUST remove the P (pressure). So, the formula will be:
PaV: In Pressure law (Pa), the volume (V) is always constant.
By using general gas law, JUST remove the V (volume). So, the formula will be:
